7. Week #6

Your student will be give a sheet that looks similar to the one below- using this we will be talking about the differences between rights and responsibilities. How responsibility often is things that we know we should do- does this feel right? With rights- the privileges we gain from being responsible.

*The sheet is universal between class and home so feel free to use this same sheet in the home


After learning about our responsibility as a part of a community, we are inviting a police officer into our classroom to talk to your child about the importance of following the rules/ laws that are set for us.

We will wrap up the week by developing superhero group names for creating our pod cast- this is a way that your child and their group members will be making an audio file which advertises the charity fundraiser for St. Judes Children Hospital.
